JAMMU: A Cultural program was today organised by Cultural Unit of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Jammu at Govt. Middle school, Railway Colony on the theme “Nasha Mukt Bharat and Dengue awareness”. Artists of DIPR Cultural Wing participated in the event and presented Folk songs, theme songs and patriotic songs. Students of the school educated the audience about Dengue through their speeches.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest and Headmaster of the school Nishat Akhter shared her views on the topic. She appreciated the Cultural Unit of the Department of Information and Public Relations for organizing such a meaningful program to aware the future of the nation. Among others, staff members of the school, officials of the Information Department and a large number of audience witnessed the program. The whole programme was conducted under the guidance of Joint Director Information, Atul Gupta and supervision of Cultural Officer Mukesh Kumar Sharma.
