RAMBAN: The Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB), under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, organized an Entrepreneurship Awareness Program today at ITI Gool to encourage youth to take benefit of self-employment and entrepreneurial initiatives of the Government to set up their income generating units. The event, presided over by Director RSETI Harvinder Singh, was conducted under the supervision of Marketing Officer KVIB Ramban, Sudhir Singh, and Field Officer DIC, Bansi Lal. Resource persons provided valuable insights into various government schemes and support mechanisms for budding entrepreneurs.

Over 100 participants, including students, aspiring entrepreneurs, and locals attended the program. They were introduced to schemes like PMEGP and JKREGP, which offer financial aid and technical guidance to small businesses. The Director highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in driving economic growth and self-reliance. He urged participants to utilize government schemes and training programs offered by institutions such as SBI RSETI Ramban.

Superintendent ITI Gool, Er. Pervaz Iqbal Bhat lauded the initiative for empowering youth and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset in the region. The program concluded with an interactive session where experts addressed participants' queries and provided practical advice on business planning and management. Such events are pivotal in equipping individuals with the knowledge and tools to build sustainable livelihoods.
