DODA: The Sub District Hospital Bhaderwah has achieved a major milestone by conducting 20 different surgeries in one week. These include 11 major and 09 minor surgeries. The surgeries performed include 2 LSCS cases, 1 Tonsillectomy, 8 Lapro Cholecsystectomy, 3 Perianal Abcess and 1 Reduction Mamoplasty operation.

The surgeries were performed by a team of medical staff comprising Dr Varsha Kotwal (Consultant Gynecologist), Dr Subash Sharma (Surgeon Specialist), Dr Priya Manhas (MO- ENT Specialist), Dr Azma (Anaesthetist) assisted by OT staff including Amresh Kumar, Rishi Kant and others.

Chief Medical Officer Dr Om Kumar has congratulated the BMO Dr Mohammad Ashraf and dedicated the team of Doctors for achieving this feat. He appreciated the hard work and dedication shown by the staff in patient care. As per the management, the Hospital has conducted 67 General Surgeries from April 2024 onwards, including Lapro Surgeries, 23 LSCS Surgeries, 16 ENT Surgeries besides 265 Minor Surgeries.
