BARAMULLA: Continuing its sustained efforts to eradicate the drug menace and prevent the illegal growth of narcotic plants, Police in Baramulla conducted a wild Bhung destruction drive at Mattipora Mirgund in coordination with local residents.

During the drive, wild Bhung spread over approximately 01 kanal of land was identified and destroyed on the spot. The active participation of local residents reflects the growing community support for Baramulla Police's campaign against drug abuse and illegal cultivation.

J&K Police remains committed to eliminating the drug ecosystem through sustained enforcement, public participation, and awareness initiatives. The general public is urged to continue supporting the police by reporting any instances of illegal cultivation or drug-related activities in their areas.
