JAMMU: The Training & Placement Office, Central University of Jammu, under the esteemed guidance of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain, has been actively engaging with various organizations to enhance career opportunities for students.
In a recent initiative, the T&P Office at CU Jammu organized an Internship cum Placement Drive for students of the Mass Communication Department, in collaboration with the JK Media group. The drive aimed to equip students with industry insights and career prospects in the dynamic field of media.
The placement drive was a remarkable learning experience, offering students an opportunity to understand the evolving landscape of the media industry. The recruitment team from JK Media, led by HR Manager Mr. Akshay, along with his team members Mr. Sugam Andotra and Mr. Abhishek, interacted with the students and conducted interviews based on industry-specific hiring parameters.
Apart from the recruitment process, the event facilitated knowledge exchange on the transformation of the media sector, covering key aspects of sales, marketing, and digital media strategies. This initiative not only provided placement opportunities but also broadened the students’ perspectives on the industry’s growth and demands.
