UDHAMPUR: Indian Army conducted a medical camp at Gulabgarh village of Reasi district on 19 Aug 2018. The aim of the conduct of Medical Camp was to address the medical problems of populace in far flung and remote area of the region for which they have to travel for long distances through difficult terrain even to get basic medical facilities available at Bagga. A team of Army and local doctors from district administration along with staff conducted the camp.
More than 950 patients, including men, women and children were provided medical treatment and check up. Medicines were also distributed to the patients. The medical staff also provided counseling on hygiene and sanitation, importance of safe drinking water and modern day health lifestyle related diseases. The medical camp was well received by the local populace. Speaking on the occasion on behalf of the locals, Sarpanch of the village Gulabgarh, expressed his gratitude and appreciation towards the Army for its pledge towards addressing the medical problems of the locals.
