UDHAMPUR: In consonance with Army's ongoing efforts to educate local populace, the Indian Army organised medical care for the populace through a ‘Medical Patrol’ in village Dedha. The Medical Patrol reached out to the people residing in the remote areas of the village.
A total of 42 people of all ages reaped the benefits of this medical patrol provided to them at their doorsteps. The medical patrol team provided much needed medicines and medical advice for the harsh and changing weather to the residents of the village. The Army Medical Patrol also presented an opportunity to interact with the locals and discuss the hardships and problems being faced by them.
Such initiatives will help the Army to further strengthen connect with AWAM and the know of the problems being faced by the local population. The effort will help Army to mitigate the problems faced at appropriate level in the shortest possible timeframe, to ensure sustained progress in the region. The local populace expressed their gratitude towards the Army and requested for more much events in future.
