SRINAGAR: A special camp was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Housing Board today under the supervision of Commissioner Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department, Mandeep Kaur. The camp, held at the Camp Office in Bemina, aimed to address public grievances related to plot transfers, leasehold rights, and other housing matters.
Managing Director of the Housing Board, Ashish Kumar Gupta oversaw the camp's operations. The camp, which will run until August 3rd aims to provide assistance with various issues such as the transfer of plots, extension/conversion of leasehold rights, NOC for conveyance deed, NOC for sale deed, and more.
This initiative allows the public to directly engage with officials to promptly address their concerns. The first day saw a significant number of applicants visiting the office and sought information and collected documents for the transfer of plots and other related matters.
The Housing Board officials promptly addressed most of the issues on the spot, providing guidance for resolving any remaining concerns. The Managing Director encouraged allottees/ lessees and the general public to take full advantage of this opportunity. Furthermore, he expressed that similar special camps will be organized in the future, providing hope and reassurance to the public.
