JAMMU: As part of the district administration's ongoing efforts to combat child exploitation, a rescue operation for children in street situations, CISS, was conducted today in Narwal and surrounding areas of Wave Mall and Hotel Radisson Blu. Six minors, engaged in street begging and child labour, were successfully rescued.

Following proper formalities and the filing of a daily diary report, the children were presented before the Child Welfare Committee for rehabilitation and social integration. The district administration reaffirms its commitment to ensuring the well-being and future of vulnerable children through similar sustained efforts.
