JAMMU: Bhartiya Janata Party blames Advisor to Chief Minister for failing in his duties for which he is being paid from the public exchequer with all other facilities. If the NC government Headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is working in a purposeless manner, advisor to CM has to share the blame as he is equally responsible for working of the government, Girdhari Lal Raina –the BJP spokesperson said.
Three months have passed since this government walked into the office yet there is nothing worthwhile to display as its achievement, GL Raina asserted. This government has failed to address basic needs of the people of Union Territory, which they had promised in their election Manifesto, he added. A responsible party like BJP is obligated to take up issues of public importance when in opposition whether party in office likes it or not. Advisor to CM must tell Chief Minister to act in a manner that leaves little scope for criticism, expressed BJP spokesperson.
GL Raina emphasised that negativity is spread by sluggish ministers who prefer to sit in comfortable offices and not attend to even health emergencies letting people particularly the infants die of mysterious deaths.
Reacting to NC leaders demand/wish to develop Sonamarg for snow activities so that the tourism, Raina asked them to tell this to the Member of Parliament from the area who preferred to be away from his constituency and miss such an important occasion like inauguration of most crucial tunnel in the area. NC MPs, MLAs and other elected representatives have a tradition of doing every other questionable act, but to perform their basic duty. Precious lives including those of young students in Batwara Srinagar could have been saved had public representatives belonging to NC worked diligently.
How can the “Dil ki doori” bridged when your hearts are filled with hate, politics and narrow selfish ends, Raina asked GL Raina declared emphatically that BJP will continue to raise issues of public importance including those related security, safety and integrity of the nation irrespective of likes and dislike of present dispensation. “My advice to the Chief Minister and his advisor is to put your house in order, work for people not party,” Girdhari Lal Raina stated.
