POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Vikas Kundal conducted an on-site inspection at the Sports Stadium Poonch to review the arrangements for the upcoming Republic Day 2025 celebrations at the venue. He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Tahir Mustafa Malik and other civil and Police Officers.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner meticulously assessed the preparations, focusing on various aspects including seating arrangements, stage setup, security measures, and logistical support to ensure the event proceeds smoothly. Emphasizing the importance of detailed planning, he stated that the celebration should reflect the grandeur and discipline befitting the significance of the occasion.
"The Republic Day celebrations are a testament to our unity and patriotism," said DC Vikas Kundal. "It is imperative that we ensure public convenience, especially for dignitaries, school children, and participants in cultural programs."
The Deputy Commissioner directed all line departments to work in close coordination to finalize the arrangements well in advance. He underscored the administration’s commitment to making the event a grand success, showcasing the spirit of the district.
