POONCH: District Development Commissioner, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting of District Level Committee here in the conference hall of the DC office to discuss and approve cases received under Holistic Agriculture Development Plan (HADP) in the district. The committee, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Poonch Vikas Kundal, approved 438 cases of agriculture, horticulture, Animal Husbandry and other allied sectors.

The DC emphasized that the HADP was a major step towards creating a sustainable and profitable agricultural ecosystem. "The programme aims to empower farmers with knowledge and tools that can help them enhance their productivity and profitability while also contributing to the overall growth of the agriculture sector", he added.

He also stressed the importance of meeting the targets within the timeframe set for the concerned departments. He assured all possible support from the district administration to facilitate the success of HADP.

The DC also directed the DFO, Tribal Officer and District NLRM Officer to constitute Vandhan group for the upliftment of tribal people for generating their income from local sources.

The meeting was attended by GM DIC Poonch; ACP, ACR, DFO, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer; Chief Agriculture Officer; Chief Horticulture Officer, District Manager NABARD; Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies and other concerned Officers / Officials.
