SAMBA: The District Election Cell Samba organized a Special Summary Revision (SSR) camp for updating Panchayat Electoral rolls here today at Government Middle School Jhang in the 69 Ramgarh Constituency.
The Camp was organised by the District Election Cell under SVEEP (Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation) Initiative. Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma and Secretary State Election Commission Susheel Kumar inaugurated the event and interacted with the eligible voters.
The camp aimed to comprehensively review and update voter rolls, ensuring that all eligible voters are correctly enrolled and have the opportunity to participate in the democratic process.
Under SVEEP, special focus is given to maximise voter inclusion and electoral participation through systematic roll revision. Sunil Angral Dy. District Election Officer Samba, BDO Ramgarh and BLOs of Block Ramgarh were also present to resolve any issues faced by enrolling voters and address queries.
