SRINAGAR: In order to equip students with practical, job-specific skills and knowledge, and prepare them for specific careers, enhancing their employability and economic opportunities, the Department of Social Welfare, SANKALP- Hub for Empowerment of Women- Mission Shakti Srinagar organized Vocational Training Programme with the students of Government Girls Higher secondary school Nishat.
On the occasion, Principal of GGHSS Nishat, Anjum Saleem discussed the objective of vocational training programme. Experts from Women Polytechnic and ITI presented detailed descriptions of various vocational/ Skill courses available to the students along with their employment opportunities and numerous institutions offering these Skill Courses and their admission procedures.
Concluding the programme, Certificate of Participation and career guides were distributed among the female students for helping them in career counselling and choosing the right career option.
