SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Knowledge Network  organized series of online programs today. Miss Avantika Singh (USA) who is Engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in the United States, Currently she is trying to make fuels, like petrol and diesel from waste materials. She delivered a useful lecture from USA to the students of following schools of J&K Hr Sec School Safapora Ganderbal ,Govt. Girls Hr Sec. School Kangan , Modal Hr Sec School Ramban , HSS Hajin Bandipora , HSS Doda ,Modal HSS Thanamandi. She talked about Solar energy , production of diesel and petrol  from   waste materials ,difference between Plastic bags and bio degradable bags  at the end students talked about themselves , their aim in life and changes they want in world and their personal life.


All the students enjoyed the interesting and useful  lecture delivered by the Guest from USA. During the program students did some practical’s also. The students asked number of questions to the guest and got detailed answers to the questions. In the first and second week of the March Students of Govt Girls Hr Sec School Kangan and Higher Secondary School Salia Anantnag Kashmir interacted with the students of Podar World School - Sherkhi -Gugrat India, of international independent school Jordan,  sacred heart school Philippines, St. Monicas College Melborne Australia on the topic " During the discussion students discussed various issues related to their personal life, community and humanity.


Students sheared various personal examples and solutions to the different problems faced by the people in their communities. The students were happy to know much about the students of Gujarat. The students talked about Rights of girls and women, Humanity , poverty , Education, Human rights , faith values and beliefs. The students learned many new things. A student of GGHSS Kangan said that  such  programs are much useful for the students be it critical thinking, communication skills ,behaviour ,GK etc these are very much useful the program was organized by Generation Global “ a London based organization working to promote dialogue skills among the students. in the past few wweks JKKN organized many training cum interaction programs among teachers and students. 

Mr Vikrant sir and DNO Ganderbal Mr Hilal Ahmad lone  delivered online training lectures to Head Masters and Teachers who were getting training at different locations of the J&K. The JKKN is going to organize many innovative programs during the month of March said Mr Hilal Ahmad who is looking after the JKKN in Kashmir Division. On 10Th of March JKKN Ganderbal  organized an online welcome program  for the students of Middle schools of the district Ganderbal in which students shared their winter experiences, Sang many songs and rhymes, especially Kashmiri Rhymes. We are trying to connect more and more schools so that we can reach maximum students trough technology said Dy. CEO Ganderbal Mr Gayas-Ud-Din. He stressed upon the usage of technology in teaching learning process.
