JAMMU: A felicitation function was conducted at Hotel Ramada Jammu City Centre, Chinar Restaurant in honour of famous mountain climber Sangeeta S Bahl hailing from Jammu and Kashmir state who scaled the world's tallest mountain peak Mount Everest in May, 2018 and became the oldest Indian woman to have scaled the world's tallest peak (29,029 ft.), at the age of 53 years She also became the first woman from Jammu and Kashmir to scale the mountain.
In addition to this she is a former Miss India finalist in 1985. Ms Bahl shared her high and low experiences and how because of sheer determination, will power, training and fighting all odds she was able to accomplish an impossible task for many. Managing Director, Ramada Jammu Siddhant Chowdhary escorted Ms. Bahl on a show around. Visited Sky Lounge and pool on fifth floor she liked the comfortable innovative colourful LED chairs, the innovative Wine and Dine experience under the Stars and the breath-taking view of Bahu Fort on one side, Tawi view in the front, Trikuta Hills on the back and the infinity pool lit amidst Fire Fountains which is one of a kind in Jammu.
