JAMMU: Bharatiya Janata Party National Vice-President and Prabhari for J&K State Avinash Rai Khanna (MP Rajya Sabha), while addressing the party workers’ meet at Jagat Resorts, Talab Tillo, Jammu said that BJP will sweep every poll from Panchayat to Parliament in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. BJP State President Ravinder Raina (MLA), former Minister Sat Sharma, BJP State Vice-Presidents Parmod Kapahi, Rajni Sethi, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, State General Secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh and Pawan Khajuria were also present in the Sammelan. 

Khanna, while addressing the workers’ meet, stressed upon the party workers to carry out all the issues discussed by the National President Amit Shah. He said that BJP, in preparation of 2019 elections is focussing on the strengthening of organization at booth level. He said that booth forms a very important and functional unit of the organization and dedicated party activists will ensure BJP’s win in every poll from Panchayat to Parliament. 

Khanna prompted the party activists to make contact with all the prominent persons living in their vicinity. He also felicitated the senior-most leaders of party on the occasion, while terming them as the pillar of organization. Khanna also termed the Shakti Kendra Pramukhs as the power house who supply power to the all the booths thus effectively ensuring their success at every step and prompted them to work hard for the party. He also aired the slogan of “Booth Jeeta, Chunaav Jeeta”, while asking the booth Presidents to form strong and effective committees. 

BJP State President, Ravinder Raina, in his address, concentrated on the development and progress done by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government at the Centre. He said that BJP has truly delivered on its slogan of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas” by initiating plethora of schemes particularly dedicated to the welfare of poor. He said that the dedicated work by the BJP has touched the lives of people and the selfless social works by the leaders of party has paid, when we see the happiness and satisfaction on the faces of villagers from far off places who have witnessed electricity connection, LPG connections and other basic facilities at their places for the first time. 

Raina said that we have to work hard for the mission undertaken by our National President, ensuring 400 Lok Sabha seats in the coming Parliamentary elections. He lamented that the earlier governments the Centre led by Congress looted the Nation for their own vested interests, but now the public is disenchanted with their misdeeds and will vote enmass for the Modi led government with full love and affection. 

Sat Sharma, in his address focussed on the celebration of six party festivals at every booth level. He also stressed for listening of popular AIR programme of PM, “Mann Ki Baat” on every last Sunday at every booth and said that these activities will help in further extension of party activities at the ground level. Ashok Kaul, in his address threw light on the organizational matters. He prompted the Shakti Kendra Pramukhs to submit the details of their booths in view of approaching elections in the state. He said that the BJP leaders and activists need to maintain active relation with all the organizations working in the society so as to extend the party ideology into the society. 

District President Ayodhya Gupta thanked all the senior leaders for actively contributing in the meeting. District General Secretary Sanjeev Sharma conducting the proceedings of the stage. State Secretaries Rajinder Sharma, Sanjay Baru, Chander Mohan Gupta, Naresh Dogra, Arvind Gupta, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra,  Parduman Singh, Arun Chibber, Mohan Singh Rana, Munish Sharma, Balbir Ram Rattan, N. D. Rajwal, Veenu Khanna,  Sanjita Dogra, Kuldeep Magotra were among the prominent leaders present in the meeting.
