JAMMU: Plantation drive was launched by Former Dy CM & MLA Gandhi Nagar Kavinder Gupta, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul in Presence of State General Secretary Yudhviir Sethi, Rajeev Charak, varinder Jeet Singh, Surinder Choudhary, Ajay Pargal, Bharat Sharma and Arvind Gupta to honour Bharat Ratna & Former Prime Minister Lt. Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji.
Kavinder Gupta in his address to the party workers present there said that the Gandhi Nagar Mandal is always involved in the new initiatives. This plantation drive is the best tribute to our beloved Bharat Ratan Atal ji. Like plants, which serve all the living bodies on earth in one way or the other without getting any return, Atal ji also served the nation for whole of his life selflessly. His contributions to the people of India, and bilateral relations with countries have been globally appreciated. He will be remembered as a politician who made a major personal contribution to the friendly relations and privileged strategic partnership between different countries.
Jugal Kishore in address said that the Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, who would not only be remembered for his distinguished service and leadership for India but also as a scholar who has made immense contribution to literature and art. At this time of national loss, whole of the world is in deep shock.
Ashok Koul in his address said that plantation of trees, is a real tribute to our Bharat Ratan and such type of plantation drive should further be extended to each ward of the state and to whole of the India. Every worker of the party would get inspired from the growth of the plants thus remembering Atal ji and his selfless service to nation. The Golden Quadrilateral Roads project along with the plantations was the dream of our beloved Atal ji, and we should strengthen this to fulfil his dreams of Green India Clean India.
The Plantation of 93 saplings of Herbal/Ayurvedic was organised by BJP Gandhi Nagar Mandal President Ankush Gupta who in his address said that the plantation drive organised here is to pay the tributes to one of the true Statesman of Indian politics who has has left a void which can never be filled. His impeccable dedication & integrity towards building today's India can’t be put into words but some symbolic actions would pay tribute to the noble soul. The Trees Planted here would also keep benefiting the society & humans with same kind of selflessness.
