JAMMU: Prominent Congress leader Sarbjeet Singh, Adv. Dwarka Nath Sharma along with their hundreds of supporters joined BJP in the presence of BJP State President Ravinder Raina (MLA), former Minister Chander Prakash Ganga (MLA) and other senior leaders at BJP state headquarter, Jammu. BJP State General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi, MLC Ch. Vikram Randhawa, State Secretaries Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra, Ajay Pargal, District President Jangbir Singh  and other party senior leaders were also present on the occasion.

Sarabjeet Singh earlier served as Secretary PCC and worker of NSUI. Chairman Bari Brahmana Puran Chand, Chairman Vijaypur Deepak Kumar, Vice-President Ramgarh Kamlesh Kumar and Vice-President Ramji Das were also felicitated on the occasion.

Ravinder Raina, while welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, assured them that they will get full support of organization in serving the society. He said that the strong and decisive policies of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government at the Centre has succeeded in winning the hearts of the people. He said that the people have acknowledged the good governance by the present dispensation. He said that the government has touched the lives of millions through public centric schemes which is evident by the love and affection shown by the general masses in every election, particularly referring to the recent performance of BJP in Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) elections.

Chander Prakash Ganga emphasized that the BJP has succeeded in bridging the gap between the common masses and the administration. He said that now, daily more and more persons are coming forward to join the party fold. He showered heaps of praises on the decision of these leaders for joining BJP and said that the time will come when not a single person will be able to carry flag of Congress in the region.

The new entrants assured the party senior leaders that they will work dedicatedly for the growth of the party while serving the common masses. They said that influenced by the PM Modi, they decided to join the party fold with a mission to serve the people. They said that they will work in line with the party principles and in total harmony with the party senior leaders to achieve the mission of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas”.

Proceedings were conducted by Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra. Balbir Singh, Surjit Singh, Bhagwan Dass, Jeet Lal Choudhary, Pawan Kumar, Asha Rani, Pooja Kumari,  Surjit Randhawa, Sukhdev Singh, Sub. Parmjeet Singh, Nanak Chand, Gaina Ram, Sarbjit Singh Johal, Jeet Lal Choudhary, Pawan Kumar Pooja Kumari, Sukhdev Singh were among the prominent who joined BJP.

State Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta, State Media Incharge & State Press Secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, State Executive Members Dharam Pal, Jai Sharma, Councillor Pawan Bakshi, Madan Lal Sharma, Tilak Verma, Ishant Gupta, Ankit Gupta and others were among the prominent BJP leaders present on the occasion.
