UDHAMPUR: In order to make the Girls of Rajouri district aware about the employment opportunities in Armed Forces, the Indian Army conducted a motivational lecture on “Women Entry Scheme in the Armed Forces” at Government Girls High School, Budhal in Rajouri district.

The lecture was attended by 45 students of Class X to XII standard from Government Girls High School Budhal and nearby schools. The lecture was aimed to make the audience aware of the procedure for Entry in Armed Forces and covered in detail various types of entries and modes of selection in the Armed Forces. A brief insight was also given about the physical and medical requirements for entry into the Armed Forces. Leaflets containing information about the selection process and the schedule of various exams were also handed over to the students.

The lecture culminated in an interactive session where all queries of the students were resolved by the Army official, conducting the lecture. Speaking on the occasion, the students who attended the training thanked the Army for enabling them to become self reliant for the future and would assist in the all-round socio economic development of the region.
