SRINAGAR: Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Association Shah Fayaz said that salary bills of erstwhile SSA teachers are laying in state treasury from last month. In a statement issued here he said it is matter of concern that finance department is not paying any attention to clear these bills. Shah said only 6 days left for current financial year and after that new financial year will start but it is very unfortunate nation builders are being harassed and teachers are facing mental and social problems.

Shah said parliament elections are on peak and most of the teachers have been assigned duty, but they did not have bus fair to pay how they can manage to attend election trainings at different district headquarters. He further added that teachers do not want any tussle, confrontation with Government as academic session is on peak and it will disturb both academic activities and peaceful parliament election process. Shah Fayaz appealed Governor, advisor Khursheed Ganie, Secretary Education intervene in this matter so that teachers will get out of financial crunch.
