SRINAGAR: The Delhi Police claims to have arrested Jaish-e-Mohammed militant Sajjad Khan, who is said to be a close associate of Pulwama attack mastermind. According to police, 27-year-old Sajjad Khan, a resident of Pulwama was arrested from near Lajpat Rai Market, Delhi, late yesterday night(March 22). Sajjad Khan was wanted by the National Investigative Agency (NIA). A team will question Sajjad in connection with the Pulwama attack. A case against Sajjad has been lodged by the NIA under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).

According to a senior officer of Delhi Special Cell, "Sajjad Khan is an associate of Muddasir Khan, who was the mastermind of Pulwama attack and was killed in an exchange of fire with security Forces in J&K recently. Sajjad Khan was tasked by Mudassir to establish a sleeper cell in Delhi." On February 14, in a suicide attack, 40 CRPF personnel were martyred in Kashmir. The suicide attacker was identified as Ahmed Dar, who was working in behest of Jaish, Mudassir Ahmed Khan.

KULGAM: On 13th of March Shri Aurobindo Society in collaboration with HDFC Bank and MHRD Govt of India facilitated around 600 teachers from 18 states of the country for their zero investment innovations.

In this mega event 32 teachers from j&k were too awarded for their contribution of zero investment innovations. Among the facilitated teachers Mr Syed Muneer Hussain Teacher of Hs paranpillan Zone jhulla Dist baramulla and Shevata sharma teacher from jammu addressed the gathering representing their state while both the teachers stressed on the importance of zero investment innovations and invited the member states to visit j&k to promote peace and universal brotherhood .

Moreover, the book of J&k innovative teachers was also launched. The member states showered tremendous love and affection towards the teachers of j&k and their contribution in the improvement of education.

MUMBAI: Advisor to Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, K Skandan today met Tata Sons Private Limited Chairman N. Chandrasekaran at Mumbai to workout modalities for involvement of the corporate sector for development of IT and other sectors in J&K. He was accompanied by Vice-Chancellor of the Kashmir University, Prof Talat Ahmad, Secretary IT, Saugat Biswas and Managing Director JK IT ID & SIDCO, Ravinder Kumar.

The Advisor invited TATA Companies to make investment in the state of Jammu and Kashmir to provide employment opportunities to the youth of the state. He informed the Chairman about various advantages and facilities available in the state for investment in multiple sectors viz Information Technology, Industries, Tourism and Crafts.

The Vice Chancellor Kashmir University also mentioned that both Jammu and Kashmir universities have varied training centres for skill development of youth which may be required by industry. The Advisor assured the Tata Sons Chairman of the full support from the State Government.
