BENGALURU: A group of 19  High School children (Boys)   along with 2 teachers from Budgam district of  Jammu and Kashmir are on their  visit to  Bengaluru and back  from 9th Oct  to 12 Oct2017   as part of  Capacity Building Tour (CBT), under  “OPERATION SADBHAVANA”, organized by the   Indian Army and coordinated by the Headquarters Karnataka and Kerala Sub Area. The students arrived in Bengaluru on 9th October   visited Army Public School, Rashtriya Military School, Visvesvaraya Industriaand Technological Museum, Aquarium Art Gallery, M.Chinnaswamy Stadium and Vidhana Soudha. They also visited Karnataka and Kerala Sub Area and met Major General KS Nijjar,  General Officer Commanding of  Karnataka and  Kerala Sub Area.


The main focuss of this boys exclusive CBT is to increase their awareness  about the latest advancement in the field of science and technology, software Industry, business management, hospitality and service industry. While providing them the exposure to the employment opportunities it will also be endeavour to show the unity and diversity, rich heritage and economic progress made by the country. The interaction of children from terror affected regions of Jammu and Kashmir with large cross section of the society will help bring about a significiant attitudinal awaking amongst the participants.  The CBT will not only assist the children of this remote area to become better citizens but will also motivate them to assist in the overall development of the region and the country.
