- BJP will form govt on its own: Ashok Koul
SRINAGAR: Senior BJP leader and election campaign in-charge for J&K, Ram Madhav, on Wednesday said that ouster of 3 families Abdullahs, Muftis and Gandhis from J&K politics is must for flourishing of democracy in J&K. This was stated by Ram Madhav, while addressing a public meeting in support of the party's candidate Faqir Mohammad Khan in village of Batra in Gurez.
“PM Modi established peace in J&K and crushed terrorism but NC-Cong want to revive terrorism and push J&K into unrest,” Madhav said, while adding, “people are with the development agenda of PM Modi”. Cong-NC want to bring back Article 370 which means they want death and destruction in J&K, he said, adding, “the ouster of dynastic parties from the politics of J&K is must for democracy to flourish and peace in J&K”.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has brought democracy to the ground and restored peace in J&K, paving way for development and prosperity. Madhav said that the three dynastic parties looted J&K and crushed democracy here. Complete freedom from such rulers is essential so that peace prevails development continues, he said.
He urged the public to vote in large numbers to ensure BJP’s victory so that the ongoing development and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir do not come to a halt. BJP General Secretary (Organization), Ashok Koul, expressed hope that the people will support BJP. “Only BJP is guarantee to peace and development in J&K and its bright future,” Koul said. He said that people are fully behind PM Modi’s development agenda and BJP will form next govt in J&K.
Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, said that this new J&K has been built by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where stone-pelting and terrorism have been replaced by peace and a surge in tourism. She remarked that the BJP-led central government has truly implemented democracy in Jammu and Kashmir and brought its benefits to the people.
In contrast, the 70-year dynastic rule uplifted only a few families while the common people were always oppressed, she said. BJP Secretary Tariq Keen and party candidate from Gurez (ST), Faqir Mohammad Khan, also addressed the gathering.
