  • Service to the man-kind biggest worship:  Priya, Yudhvir  

JAMMU: In connection with Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti, an impressive Shobha Yatra, organized  by Yagya and Bhajan Kirtan, at Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha,  Jammu,was taken out here today which started from Satwari Chowk and culminated at Brahaman Sabha near Parade Ground Jammu. The impressive  Shobha Yatra comprised of  tableau from different parts of Jammu region, depicting  the  role  played by different incarnations of God  for welfare of humanity.

 

A large number of people from Brahman community, students and prominent citizens took part in the Shobha Yatra. After passing through Bikram Chowk, Dogra Chowk, Jewel Bazar, Hari Market, Ragunath Bazar, Link Road, Purani Mandi Kanak Mandi, Chaowk Chaboutra, Moti Bazar, Pacca Danga, Ranbireshwar Mandir, culminated at Chanakaya Chowk Brahman Sabha, Parade, Jammu.

Renowned Saints, along with large number of followers of Bhagwan Parshuram was part of the Jhanki. Impressive Jhankies of Baba Bhair Devta and Mata Mahalakshmi were part of the Shobha Yatra. Enroute, the Shobha Yatra was accorded warm reception by the shopkeepers associations and other social organizations. Stalls were arranged at various points and the markets were decorated.

 

Besides, president of Dogra Brahman Paratinidhi Sabha, the a team of management committee also participated in the yatra. Minister of State for Education and Culture Priya Sethi along with  BJP State Vice President Yudhvir Sethi welcomed the Yatra at Brahman Sabha, Parade Jammu. A religious congregation was also held at Brahman Sabha. The priests prayed for the peace and prosperity of the State. On the occasion Priya Sethi said that the Jammu and Kashmir is known as cradle of saints and sofi’s world wide. She said they have taught us lesson of humanity and brother hood. She stressed upon the people to follow the teachings of spiritual leaders.

 

BJP State Vice President Yudhvir Sethi also spoke on the occasion stressed upon the people to work for bringing peace and prosperity in the State. He further said that service to the man-kind is the biggest worship which needs to be followed by one and all. Later, the Minister and Yudhvir Sethi also participated in a similar religious function organised by Sachkhand Nanak Dham at Toph pull.

 

Sant Tirlochan Darshan Dass Ji delivered SantSangh and recited Bhajan Kartan to bestowed the God's blessing to his devotees and public at large at Jammu. Main centre of Sachkhand Nank Dham is at Loni  (UP) and other centres at Batilia,UK, Canada,Usa ,South Africa  and other various places. Thousands of devotees were present on the occasion. A large number of people from different religions participated in the function.
