SRINAGAR: According to the Executive Officer, Jammu and Kashmir State Hajj Committee, all aspiring pilgrims who have deposited their Hajj application forms for Hajj-2015 are asked to collect their cover number slips from the offices of respective Deputy Commissioners from March 07, 2015 to March 10, 2015 against production of provisional receipt.  However, the Hajj applicants belonging to district Srinagar shall collect the same from Hajj House, Bemina. The cover number slips can also be downloaded from Hajj Committee of India/State Hajj Committee websites (www.hajcommittee.com and www.jkshc.com).

 

The applicants are asked to report any error in the details shown in the cover number slip to J&K State Hajj Committee office for correction up to March 10, 2015 positively. Errors/mistakes reported after March 10, 2015 will not be entertained.  Meanwhile, As per the information received  from Deputy Commissioner Budgam all the aspiring Haj pilgrims of the District who  have  collected their Hajj forms  for the Hajj 2015  are informed  to bring their tokens along with them to receive the Hajj cover form numbers which are to be issued till March 07, 2015.

JAMMU: One the eve of Holipurnima, a grand Satsang was held in the Ashram complex by Shri Rama Bhai (One of the blessed disciple of Sant Sh. Asha Ram Bapu Ji). Braving bad weather and cold, the devotees thronged the Ashram complex to listen to the discourses of Rama Bhai over Holi-Purnima. Speaking on the occasion Sh. Rama Bhai narrated at length the episode of Bhagat Prahlad-a strong devotee of Lord Hari. His unflinching unshaken faith in Lord Hari proved fruitless and invain to his father, who left are stone unturned to dissociate prahlad from uttering the name of Lord Hari and inturn accepting him (His father) the God, adding Prahlada bore the brunts and atrocities inflicted by his father in various forms to the extent of ending his life but one who has God sheter cannot be harmed by any power on earth. Holika who had the “Vardaan” of having no impact of fire however severe got burnt but Prahlada came out safe as if he had been on the bad of flowers.

God is all powerful and Supreme and no one on earth can equate him. He is like a shield for his true devotee and that is the reason he manifested from the pillar to save his devotee from death and turned his father into pieces by his nails, without flouting the “Vardaans” his father has been bestowed with.

Rama Bhai also highlighted the episodes of Lord Krishna lifting “Girraj hillock” over his smallest finger but gave credit of it to his devotees. Similarly, Lord Rama also did “Leela” in various/forms to give credit to Sagreev, Hanuman Ji and others. Speaking on the captivity of Pujya Bapu ji in Jodhpur Jail, Rama Bhai ji said that the sooner the authorities at the helm of affairs take a sensible decision to release the pious and innocent saint from the jail, the better would it be for the overall health of the country, adding turning a blind eye to arrive of the truth and keep the great innocent saint confined to Jail shall have serious repercussions in the long run. Lastly the devotees dispersed after celebrating knowledge Holi full of devotional songs and nectarine serious from Srimad Bhagwad Gita. Longer, had been arranged for all who participated in today’s occasion.

JAMMU:  The Registration of pilgrims for Shri Amarnathji Yatra commenced on 2nd March 2015, for both the Baltal and Chandanwari routes, through 430 designated Bank branches of Punjab National Bank, Jammu & Kashmir Bank and YES Bank all over the country. This year’s 59 days Yatra shall commence simultaneously on both the routes from 2nd July 2015 and culminate on Raksha Bandhan, the 29th August 2015.

 

Sh. Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, informed that the step-by-step procedure which the Yatris need to follow to register for the Yatra has been put on the Board’s website,www.shriamarnathjishrine.com. The website also contains the application form and state-wise list of Bank Branches with complete addresses which the Yatris can approach for registering themselves for this year’s pilgrimage.

 

The CEO said that the Yatri shall have to furnish a Compulsory Health Certificate while seeking registration for the Yatra and the format of the Compulsory Health Certificate and a State-wise list of doctors / institutes authorized to issue such Certificates has been put on the website of Shrine Board. He said that for ensuring against fraudulent Health Certificates, only such Certificates which are issued by Doctors or Medical Institutes authorized by the concerned State Government / UT Administrations shall be accepted at the registering Bank branches.  For Yatra 2015, only those Health Certificates which have been issued after 10th February 2015 shall be valid.

 

The CEO further informed that persons under the age of 13 years or above the age of 75 years and ladies who are more than six weeks pregnant would not be registered for this year’s Yatra.

 

The CEO further informed that the Yatra Permits for this year’s Yatra would be different for each day of the week / and route, with a different colour coding for each day, to facilitate the Police personnel deployed at the Access Control Gates at Baltal and Chandanwari to regulate the Yatra for the relevant date and route.  In this context, he cautioned the intending Yatris against undertaking this arduous Yatra without securing a Yatra Permit and the required Compulsory Health Certificate. 

Shri Gupta stressed that, for ensuring effective security arrangements along the difficult tracks, only those Yatris who are in possession of a Yatra Permit which is valid for a specified date and route will be allowed to proceed beyond the Base Camps, and cross the Entry Gates at Domel and Chandanwari. He appealed to all intending Yatris to complete the necessary formalities for Registration in advance and timely obtain a Yatra Permit, in their own interest, so that they do not face any inconvenience when they embark on their Yatra. Yatris who propose to travel by helicopter do not require advance registration as their helicopter tickets shall suffice for this purpose. However, they shall be required to produce the Compulsory Health Certificate, in the prescribed format and issued by an authorized Doctor, before they are allowed to travel by helicopter.
