RAMBAN: The State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Ramban, in collaboration with NABARD, today concluded the Entrepreneurship Development Program for Welding and Fabrication Work for 26 trainees at Sailkund (Sangaldan).
During the training, trainees learned various skills such as Oxy-Acetylene Welding and cutting, Arc and Gas Welding, metal joining methods, and the use of common gases for welding and cutting. They also received training in entrepreneurship competencies, effective communication, marketing management, problem-solving, time management, banking, government schemes, and more.
The valedictory function was graced by District Development Manager NABARD, Aarushi Sharma, and Subedar Suresh Singh of the Indian Army (23 RR). Aarushi Sharma informed trainees about the benefits of self-employment and government-sponsored schemes. Subedar Suresh Singh motivated the trainees to pursue self-employment.
Director of RSETI Ramban, Harvinder Singh, also interacted with the trainees, advising them on various self-employment schemes like PMEGP, JKREGP, and PM MUDRA Yojana. He also educated them about insurance schemes such as PMSBY, PMJJBY, and APY.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Senior Faculty Amrik Singh Raju. The trainees expressed their gratitude to SBI RSETI Ramban for the 30-day training program.
