SHOPIAN: A plantation drive was conducted today at the AHWC Reshinagri under the directions of the District Development Commissioner, Shopian. The initiative, held in the presence of the District Nodal Officer Ayush Shopian and the Medical Officer AHWC Reshinagri, aimed to enhance green cover and promote environmental sustainability.
The DFO Shopian provided various medicinal and native tree saplings during the drive, reinforcing the significance of afforestation in maintaining ecological balance. The plantation drive also sought to encourage public participation in environmental conservation efforts. Residents and staff members actively took part in the initiative, demonstrating a collective commitment to fostering a healthier and greener future.
