SRINAGAR: In a significant crackdown on illegal mining, Police in Sopore in collaboration with the Geology & Mining Department, seized a tractor involved in the unlawful extraction of minerals. The driver of the tractor was arrested in the operation.
A team led by SHO PS Dangiwacha carried out the action and arrested driver has been identified as Mohammad Iqbal Ganie of Machanpora Fidarpora Rafiabad. Action under law has been taken under the relevant sections of law at Police Station Dangiwacha.
