JAMMU: In alignment with the Swachata Hi Seva 2024 campaign, the Girls Hostel at Central University of Jammu hosted an engaging poster competition centred on the theme "Swabhav, Swachhata, Sanskaar, Swachhata." The competition received commendations from Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain, who praised the initiative for fostering awareness about cleanliness and its importance in everyday life.
Registrar Prof. Yashwant Singh and Dean Student's Welfare Prof. Ritu Bakshi also conveyed their congratulations, emphasizing the vital role of such events in nurturing a cleaner and more conscientious campus. Nodal officer Prof. Richa Kothari played a key role in organising the event, ensuring its smooth execution and encouraging active participation from the students.
The event, coordinated by Dr. Shaveta Kohli, Warden of the Girls Hostel, and Lt Dr. Pankaj Mehta, Assistant Professor aimed to promote cleanliness and instill a sense of responsibility among students.
