- DC pushes for achieving maximum coverage under flagship schemes
RAJOURI: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma accompanied by Additional District Development Commissioner Dr. Raj Kumar Thappa today visited Village Saranoo in Block Dhangri to inspect the Hi-Tech Ply Green House established under the Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP). The inspection was carried out with a team from the Agriculture Department to review the field-level implementation of HADP initiatives.
During the visit, the DC interacted with progressive farmers of the area, emphasizing the importance of utilizing government schemes to enhance agricultural productivity. He issued instructions for the on boarding of all beneficiaries under HADP on the Daksh Kissan portal to ensure specific training related to various projects. "This will enable farmers to fully reap the benefits of the scheme and empower them with the knowledge required for its effective implementation," said Mr. Sharma.
The Deputy Commissioner urged all stakeholders to actively encourage participation and ensure widespread awareness about the schemes offered under HADP to maximize its outreach. He reiterated the District Administrationâs commitment to promoting agriculture and allied sectors through HADP and other flagship schemes, aiming to improve the economic prospects of farmers and entrepreneurs in the region.
Mr. Sharma also directed the accompanying officers to focus on projects that have a direct impact on enhancing agricultural productivity and rural livelihoods. He stressed the importance of adopting innovative solutions and ensuring the timely implementation of schemes to address the needs of the farming community effectively.
