  • 11 students qualify for SKAI Karate World Cup Championship 2018

SRINAGAR: J&K Sports Karate Association has emerged as stars at SKAI National Karate championship 2018 under the banner of J&K K2 Martial Academy which was held at Kolkata. As per a statement, the Association said Jammu and Kashmir team won two gold, four silver, five bronze medals and they were selected for SKAI Karate World Cup championship 2018. The players who participated and won different medals in the event were Aizaz Khan gold medalist, Sahil Farooq gold medalist, Peerzada Basarat silver medalist, Amreen Yousuf silver medalist, Ifra Rafiq silver medalist, Vishal Thapa silver medalist, Zubair Manzoor bronze medalist, Fahad bin Shabir bronze medalist, Nadish Yousuf bronze medalist, Zoya Bhat bronze medalist, Abdullah Manzoor bronze medalist.

The Association Umer Akbar President JKSAI,  Farzaan Hussain Gen. Secretary, Muntazir Yaseen Treasurer JKSAIcongratulates all those students who brought laurels to the state. The J&K Sports Karate Association extended heartfelt gratitude to J&K State Sports Council and Secretary Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra for facilitating the team.
