- "Har Ghar Tiranga to remember sacrifices, valour of our history"
JAMMU: ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ to remember sacrifices and valour in our history and emotions of 1.45 billion Indians. Bike rallies, memorial cleanings, Vibhajan Vibhishika Samriti, ‘Tiranga’ hoisting under ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ to be organized by BJP, said Munish Sharma.
Munish Sharma, BJP senior leader & Incharge, BJP’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Abhiyan, along with Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Media Incharge, J&K BJP and Reema Padha, General Secretary Mahila Morcha & member Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan was addressing the media in a press conference at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
“Every Indian eagerly waits for the day of 15th August and 26th January to hoist Tiranga on the top of their homes, business outlets, offices, and to further boost the patriotism, the BJP is undertaking “Har Ghar Tiranga” Abhiyan on a large level to ensure ‘Tiranga’ is hoisted on every rooftop”, said Munish Sharma, while addressing the media.
He shared that the J&K BJP has announced a committee comprising of BJP Secretary Veenu Khanna, BJP Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, BJP Social Media Incharge Ankit Gupta, Mahila Morcha General Secretary Reema Padha, and senior leader BJP Kashmir Mudassir Wani to supervise the whole Abhiyan in the UT. He mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his desire in the mass level organization of “Har Ghar Tiranga” Abhiyan in his 112th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’.
Sharma said that while the common masses have paramount enthusiasm to hoist the ‘Tiranga’, the BJP will hold a series of such programmes at the Assembly Constituency level.
He shared that BJYM will conduct Tiranga bike rally on 11, 12 and 13th of August. He appealed to all the residents of the respective area, especially to the youth to participate in these rallies. He mentioned that the participants of these rallies will be carrying ‘Tiranga, the tricolour’ and will not hold or present party symbol or flag.
He said that on the 12, 13, and 14th of August, the BJP cadre will go to the martyrs and war memorials to clean the statues and pay floral tributes. They will also present Tiranga to the family members of the martyrs.
Munish Sharma also mentioned that on the unfortunate day of 14th of August, 1947, India suffered partition leading to the death and turmoil to the lakhs of people. He said that crores of people directly or indirectly suffered the massacres of this partition. The BJP remembers this occasion as ‘Vibhajan Vibhishika Samriti Diwas’ on 14th of August to pay tributes to all those souls. He said that the BJP will organize a ‘Goshthi’ to be addressed by prominent personalities of society and the family members of persons who bore the direct burnt of partition.
He said that BJP is undertaking ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ on 12, 13, 14, and 15th of August and stressed that the PM has appealed to promote children to hoist the ‘Tiranga’ to connect the younger generation with the emotions of patriotism.
“J&K BJP appeals to all the residents of Jammu & Kashmir to celebrate the Independence Day on 15th of August like a festival and participate in the flag hoisting ceremonies. BJP also appeals on the call of PM Modi to promote children to hoist the ‘Tiranga’ in all these events especially on 15th of August”, said Munish Sharma.
