BANDIPORA: A review-cum-District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) meeting under Mission YUVA was held in Bandipora under the chairpersonship of the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib.

During the meeting, the Assistant Director Employment, Dr. Amil Khateeb, briefed the chair on the status of various Mission YUVA parameters in the district and the measures being undertaken to improve performance indicators.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the timely processing of cases, proper handholding of beneficiaries, and close coordination among all stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of Mission YUVA schemes.

A total of 309 cases were placed before the DLIC for consideration. After thorough scrutiny and deliberations, 309 cases were approved. The Deputy Commissioner directed all concerned departments and banking institutions to work in close coordination to ensure the timely disbursement of sanctioned cases and facilitate aspiring entrepreneurs in establishing sustainable ventures.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Director Employment Bandipora, ARTO Bandipora, Cluster Head, J&K Bank, Functional Manager DIC Bandipora, District Nodal Officer NABARD Bandipora, Employment Officer Bandipora, District Programme Manager NRLM, Branch Managers of J&K Bank, SBDU Lead, and BHD Leads of Bandipora, Sumbal, and Gurez.
