POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma, accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Poonch, Tehsildar Mandi and SHO Loran visited the Revised Modified High-Density Apple Orchard at Tantraygam, Loran, Tehsil Mandi.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the orchard established under the Revised Modified High-Density Apple Plantation Scheme. The orchard has been developed at an estimated cost of â‚¹8 lakh, with 50% government financial assistance (₹4 lakh) provided under the scheme. The initiative aims to promote modern high-density apple cultivation, improve horticultural productivity and enhance farmers' income and livelihood.
