RAJOURI: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma today visited flood-affected areas of Nowshera to assess damage caused by the recent heavy rains and flash floods. The Deputy Commissioner inspected the affected localities, including Bela Nowshera, and interacted with residents to understand the extent of losses. He assured the affected families of all possible assistance in accordance with government norms.

The DC directed the officers concerned to carry out a comprehensive damage assessment and ensure prompt relief and restoration. He also called for close coordination among departments to restore normalcy at the earliest. Additional Deputy Commissioner Nowshera Pritam Lal Thapa and other district and sectoral officers accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.
