RAJOURI: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma today chaired a meeting to review arrangements for the Independence Day. Officers of various line departments participated and discussed the preparations for the national event including implementation of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The Deputy Commissioner directed all departments to work in close coordination and complete every arrangement well in advance for a dignified observance.
The meeting was informed that the main Independence Day function will be held at the District Police Line, Rajouri. The full dress rehearsal will be conducted on 13 August 2026. Reviewing departmental responsibilities, the Deputy Commissioner stressed meticulous planning, timely execution and effective inter-departmental coordination.
Among those present were ADDC Malik Zada Sheraz Ul Haq, ADC Rajouri Ravi Kumar Sihag, Superintending Engineer PWD (R&B) Manzoor Ahmed, ACR Mohd Jahangir Khan, ARTO Ashiq Rafiq Malik and CEO Mohammad Hafiz, besides other officers concerned, some of whom participated through virtual mode.
