REASI: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Nidhi Malik chaired a meeting of the District Level Committee today to review applications seeking Change of Land Use cases in the district. Three cases were assessed. After scrutiny and through assessment the applications were found lacking in meeting the set criteria and were set aside.

The Deputy Commissioner asked for consulting the Housing and Urban Development Department and the Revenue Department to ensure all the change of land use cases are taken into consideration after thorough scrutiny. She emphasised diligence and transparency in the processing of CLU cases to uphold the integrity of the change of land use policy.

The meeting was attended by key officials, including ACR Anshumali Sharma, DFO Reasi Sunil Manhas, CAO Harbans Singh, and XENs from Jal Shakti, JPDCL and PMGSY, as well as the Tehsildars and other relevant officers.
