UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa today chaired a meeting of the District Level Committee to review the implementation strategy for the MY Bharat initiative and strengthen youth participation across the district. District Youth Officer, MY Bharat delivered a presentation highlighting the objectives, scope and significance of the initiative.
The Deputy Commissioner directed convergence among departments to spread awareness and promote youth registration, and called for maximising registration, strengthening inter-departmental participation and enhancing coordination for effective implementation, including through educational institutions and youth clubs.
The DC directed officers concerned to ensure maximum enrolment on the MY Bharat portal and called for active mobilisation of educational institutions, youth clubs, volunteers and other stakeholders, noting that greater youth participation would enable young people to access opportunities for experiential learning, volunteerism, leadership development and nation-building.
