REASI: In a vibrant display of patriotism and national pride, Government Degree College Katra today organised a Tiranga Rally on the college campus as part of the Independence Day celebrations, aimed at fostering a spirit of unity, patriotism and respect for the National Flag among students.
The rally was held under the guidance and leadership of Principal Dr. Rajni Bhagat and was coordinated by Ajay Kumar Billa, Director of Physical Education, whose efforts contributed to the smooth and successful conduct of the programme.
A large number of students participated enthusiastically in the rally, carrying the Tricolour and raising patriotic slogans. The rally commenced from the college campus and proceeded towards the main road, creating an atmosphere of national pride and patriotic fervour.
The enthusiastic participation of the students reflected their deep respect for the National Flag and reaffirmed their commitment to the values of unity, integrity and patriotism. The event also provided an opportunity for students to express their love for the nation and strengthen their sense of civic responsibility.
All teaching and non-teaching staff members of the college participated in the event and extended their support to the programme. The rally concluded with a strong message of unity, patriotism and respect for the nation.
