Grand Pad Yatra & Bike Rally held in Reasi under Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign

REASI: In a vibrant display of patriotism and national pride, a grand Pad Yatra and Bike Rally was organised in Reasi today as part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and Independence Day celebrations. The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from officials, JKP, CRPF, students and local residents, who joined the procession carrying the National Flag and spreading the message of unity, integrity and love for the nation.

Deputy Commissioner Kumar Abhishek along with SSP Mukund Tibrewal flagged off the rally from the General Zorawar Singh Sports Stadium. With the Tricolour fluttering proudly and patriotic slogans echoing through the town, the rally proceeded through the designated route and culminated at the DC Office.

The rally provided a vibrant platform to celebrate the spirit of the nation and encouraged citizens to actively participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign by proudly displaying the National Flag at their homes and workplaces.

Deputy Commissioner Reasi said that Pad Yatra and bike rally were organised with enthusiastic participation from school children, police, paramilitary forces and people from across the district as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and celebrations marking 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’. He highlighted that a wide range of activities, including rallies, debates, poster-making and drawing competitions, are being organised in schools, colleges and at various levels across the district. He said that efforts are being made to reach every panchayat and organise Tiranga rallies, adding that the patriotic programmes and rallies will continue even after August 15.

The rally concluded at the DC Office with participants raising patriotic slogans, reaffirming their commitment to the nation and carrying forward the message of “Har Ghar Tiranga” and “Vande Mataram.”
