AWANTIPORA: The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) concluded a two-day program on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, organized by the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) in collaboration with the Dean of Students. The program, themed "Preventing Sexual Harassment of Women at the Workplace," aimed to raise awareness and foster a safer environment for all.

The event featured a poster competition and exhibition on the program's theme, which saw enthusiastic participation from both male and female students. The best posters were awarded, and all participants were felicitated for their contributions.

A special session on POSH sensitization and awareness was also conducted, during which the Chairperson of ICC, Dr. Munejah Khan, Dean of Students, Dr. Asifa Baba, ICC members Dr. Shabana Nargis and Dr. Zahida Rasool, and Dean Outreach Dr. Ruheela Hassan interacted with students. They underscored IUST's commitment to a zero-tolerance policy against sexual harassment.
