SRINAGAR: As part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, J&K Police organised Tiranga Rallies across various Districts. The initiative aims to foster patriotism, unity and national pride while encouraging active participation of students, civil society members and local communities in celebrating the spirit of the National Flag.
In Ganderbal, Police and Civil Administration jointly organised a Mega Tiranga Rally in Kangan, celebrating patriotism, unity and pride in the National Flag. The rally, led by SDM Kangan Dr. Nazir Ahmad-JKAS and SDPO Kangan Shri Rajeev Raina-JKPS, commenced from Govt. Degree College Kangan and culminated at Boys Higher Secondary School Kangan. The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation of officers of police & civil administration, students and a large number of local citizens. Carrying the Tricolour and raising patriotic slogans, participants marched with pride, creating a vibrant atmosphere of national unity and patriotic fervour.
In Kulgam, police organised a grand Tiranga Rally in Qaimoh area to promote patriotism, unity and pride in the National Flag. The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from youth, community members, civil society representatives and officers and officials from Police and other security agencies. Participants proudly carried the Tricolour and raised patriotic slogans.
In Pulwama, Tiranga Rallies were organised at various locations across the district by Pulwama Police, in collaboration with the Civil Administration, educational institutions and local communities. At Rajpora, a joint Tiranga Rally was organised in collaboration with the Civil Administration and different schools. The rally commenced from Degree College Rajpora and culminated at Sports Stadium Rajpora. At Kakapora, participants marched from Government Higher Secondary School Kakapora towards Railway Crossing Naman, carrying the Tricolour with pride. Rallies were also organised at Sangerwani, Tujan and Hawal, where students and police personnel participated with enthusiasm, raising patriotic slogans and conveying the message of national unity, peace and harmony.
In Awantipora, Police Station Khrew organized a Tiranga Rally in the Khrew area under the supervision of SDPO Pampore and SHO Khrew. The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the civil society, students and teaching staff from various schools falling within the jurisdiction of Police Station Khrew. Carrying the National Flag with pride, the participants marched through the designated route while raising patriotic slogans and conveying a strong message of unity, peace and national solidarity. The programme concluded peacefully with a renewed pledge to uphold the values of unity, integrity and brotherhood and to actively participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
The Tiranga Rallies being organised across the districts of Kashmir Valley reflect the commitment of J&K Police towards strengthening police-public relations and fostering a spirit of unity, patriotism and national pride.
