ANANTNAG: As part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, Mega Tiranga Rallies were held today across the sub-divisions of district Anantnag at Dooru, Pahalgam, Bijbehara and Kokernag, with enthusiastic participation from officers, officials, students, youth and the general public.
The SDMs and senior officers led the rallies in their respective jurisdictions, with officials from various departments joining the marches in large numbers. The rallies witnessed participants carrying the National Flag and raising patriotic slogans, reflecting a strong spirit of unity and national pride.
At Dooru, the rally was led by SDM, Parvaiz Rahim with the procession starting from Hospital and culminating at Fountain Head, near Court Complex. At Pahalgam, the rally, led by CEO PDA, Hilal Nasrullah Jerri alongside SDM, Amit Gupta, commenced from Selfie Point and culminated at Main Market.
Similarly, at Bijbehara, the rally was led by SDM Tanveer Ahmad Tanveer, starting from Govt Degree College and culminating at Dara Shikoh Garden while at Kokernag, the rally was led by Tehsildar, Syed Muiz Qadri, with the procession commencing from SDM Office and culminating at Zalangam.
The rallies passed through prominent areas of the respective sub-divisions, with citizens joining and reinforcing the message of unity and patriotism while patriotic songs and slogans added fervour to the celebrations.
The rallies concluded with participants reaffirming their commitment to the ideals of unity and patriotism, besides contributing towards the progress and development of the nation.
