RAMBAN: Celebrations under the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign and Vande Mataram are in full swing across Ramban district, marked by enthusiastic public participation and a series of patriotic programmes.
The main event was held in Ramban town under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan, where a grand Mega Tiranga Rally witnessed the participation of thousands of people, including students, officers, officials and members of the general public.
The rally was graced by SSP Arun Gupta, SSP Traffic NHW Raja Adil Hamid and ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak, besides senior officers and prominent citizens. The programme featured the singing of Vande Mataram and the National Anthem, along with a spirited display of the National Flag by the participants.
The Tiranga Rally commenced from Dak Bungalow Ramban and after passing through the main market and Maitra, culminated at the District Administrative Complex, Maitra.
A 1,300-metre-long Tricolour carried by the participants remained a major attraction and added grandeur to the patriotic celebrations. Participants carrying the National Flag raised patriotic slogans, creating an atmosphere of national pride, unity and patriotism across Ramban town.
Addressing the participants, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan appreciated the overwhelming public response and said that the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign provides a meaningful platform for citizens to express their love, respect and reverence for the National Flag.
He urged the people to hoist the Tricolour at their homes with pride and dignity, in accordance with the Flag Code of India and actively participate in the patriotic programmes being organised across the district. The rallies added further momentum to the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign and reinforced the spirit of patriotism, unity and national pride across Ramban district.
