RAJOURI: The Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) Rajouri conducted an extensive three-day enforcement drive across the district to reinforce compliance with traffic rules and promote road safety.

The enforcement team, headed by ARTO Ashiq Rafiq Malik, checked 290 vehicles during the last three days and issued 37 challans for various traffic violations. An amount of ₹81,000 was realised/expected to be realised as a result of the enforcement action.

The enforcement team also seized 5 vehicles found involved in violations of the Motor Vehicles rules. The team comprised MVI Lakhvinder Singh Chib, AMVI Nitin Singh and other officials of MVD Rajouri.
