• 2 tractors seized for illegal mining

HANDWARA: In a continued drive to ensure road safety and strict compliance with traffic regulations, Police in Handwara seized thirteen motor bikes, five vehicles found to be violating traffic rules during checking at nakas established at Handwara, Langate, Kralgund, Vilgam, Magam, Chogul, Zachaldara, Qalamabad. Moreover, two tractors has been seized carrying illegal mined material during naka at PS Vilgam.

The action was taken as part of intensified action against illegal mining/traffic enforcement aimed at curbing violations, ensuring disciplined driving and enhancing the safety of road users across Police District Handwara.
