GANDERBAL: As part of the ongoing ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign-2026’, a vibrant Pony Rally was organised today at Sonamarg, witnessing enthusiastic participation from pony operators, hoteliers, local residents, tourists and other stakeholders.

The rally was organised under the supervision of the Sonamarg Development Authority, with Chief Executive Officer, Sonamarg Development Authority and Sub-Divisional Magistrate Kangan participating in the event.

Carrying the Tricolour, the participants took part in the rally through Sonamarg, creating a vibrant display of patriotism and national pride. The participation of local stakeholders, particularly pony operators and residents, reflected the strong public spirit and enthusiasm towards the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign.

The rally also witnessed participation of hoteliers, tourism stakeholders and members of the local community, who joined the celebrations carrying the National Flag and raising patriotic slogans.

The Pony Rally formed part of the series of activities being organised across District Ganderbal under the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, being observed from August 09 to 17, 2026, aimed at encouraging citizens to proudly display the National Flag and participate in activities celebrating patriotism, unity and national pride.

The event concluded with a strong message of unity, patriotism and collective participation, with Sonamarg joining the district-wide celebrations in the spirit of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’.
