SAMBA: Rich Harvest School celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti with reverence and enthusiasm, commemorating the birth anniversaries of two great leaders who left an enduring legacy of truth, simplicity, integrity and service to the nation.

The special assembly featured inspiring presentations highlighting Mahatma Gandhi’s message of truth and non-violence and Lal Bahadur Shastri’s ideals of simplicity, courage and dedication to the nation.

As part of the celebrations, students participated in a series of meaningful activities. The “Gandhi–Shastri Wall” showcased what Gandhiji and Shastri Ji would find if they visited the school today, highlighting the values, practices and initiatives inspired by their ideals. Through “A Step Towards Swachh Bharat,” students spread awareness about cleanliness, responsibility and civic sense. “Little Leaders, Great Ideals” saw two students portraying Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri and sharing their thoughts, values and ideals with fellow students. Addressing the gathering, Head of Institute Ms Anita Bhatia encouraged students to imbibe the values exemplified by Gandhiji and Shastri Ji in their daily lives. She emphasised that true education lies not only in academic excellence but also in becoming responsible, compassionate and principled citizens.
