• Tejinder Pal Singh vows to take up youth issues with  Govt

BATOTE: A significant meeting of the Jammu and Kashmir Youth National Conference (JKYNC) was held at Batote in District Ramban, drawing enthusiastic participation from the youth of the region. The meeting was marked by a warm and rousing reception accorded to Tejinder Pal Singh, Provincial President of JKNC Youth, on his maiden visit to Batote after assuming office.

During the meeting, several pressing issues concerning the youth and local residents of Ramban district were brought into focus. District President Ramban National Conference Abid Magrey was present in the meeting and addressed the local youth. The meeting was organized by Youth leader Nafiz Mir.

While addressing the meeting Abid Margrey highlighted the acute problem of unemployment in the region, stating that despite the presence of several national projects in the district, local youth are being neglected when it comes to job opportunities. He made a strong pitch for the reservation of employment for local educated youth in these ongoing infrastructural and developmental projects.

YNC workers raised concerns over the shortage of medical officers and inadequate healthcare facilities in the district. They also demanded construction of an indoor sports stadium in Batote. They stressed that creating sports infrastructure is vital to positively engage the youth and keep them away from the growing menace of drug addiction in the region.

Speaking on the occasion, Tejinder Pal Singh expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and said that the present government under the leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is committed to inclusive development and youth empowerment.

Tejinder acknowledged the issues raised by the district unit and assured that the party is aware of the hardships faced by people living in hilly areas, especially in terms of employment, healthcare, and infrastructure.

He further assured the gathering that he will take up all these issues with the Party High Command for appropriate redressal and policy attention. He encouraged the youth to remain united and continue to work under the banner of the National Conference to strengthen the voice of Jammu and Kashmir’s youth at every level.

Among others who were present included: Aslam Parey Joint Secretary Chenab Zone, Shakeel Ahmed, Sachin Bhatti, Fareed Choudhary, Mohd Abbas, Usman, Sheikh Tabrez, Shadab Bhat, Aftab, Asir Katoch, Raiz Magrey, Andrew’s Mir and others.
